The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch 2014
Every autumn, I get eager with anticipation for The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch!
It is an event like no other and is often one of the highlights of my season! I love going and marveling at the hundreds of amazing hand blown pumpkins. There is such a wide array of color, size, and style! No two pumpkins are the same yet some are very similar. Each pumpkin has it’s own unique brilliance as it glistens in the sunlight! It is a feast for the eyes and so much fun to photograph!
Here are some of my favorites from this last years display:
It has become a tradition to go year after year and I have taken many photographs over the years. You can view some of my favorites on my photography website, here: www.scatterjoyphotos.com/Galleries/Seasons/Autumns-Great-Glass-Pumpkin I have also blogged about The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch a couple of times before. Thank you Miss Karen!! if you ever come visit Oregon – there is this fabulous glass blowing studio called The Glass Forge and you can watch them create things right there. Papa and I made glass paper weights one Christmas and it was such a cool experience! Pumpkins require a TON of talent though!!!
