Every year my church, The Highway Community, does this amazing installation called Stations of the Cross. It happens on Good Friday right before Easter and it is an event you don’t want to miss! There are so many details that go into it from the Last Supper food elements to the amazing candle displays EVERYWHERE to the ripped curtain at the end. The set up is so involved and Biblically accurate – it truly takes you back in time to the day when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead. And it helps you mentally unpack that crazy powerful experience!
Each time I go, I always think to myself – “Wow – this is so amazing! I wish I brought my camera so I could capture this event!” And then I end up trying to take photos with my phone camera which never does the event justice. So this year I FINALLY took my good camera and got some good photos. I loved the photos so much – I wanted to share!
So check out the photos below. I tried to capture the whole experience! And if you are ever in the Mountain View area around Easter in the future, definitely stop by and experience this wonderful event for yourself!!
Every year, going to this is such a treat and blesses me so much. I hope you enjoyed getting a taste of this fabulous event through my photographs. And maybe one year, you can go too!
