Gamble Garden in Bloom

I love flowers! For some reason, I can’t stop photographing them. You might think that after awhile I would start to get tired of them, but I don’t. One of my favorite things to do is go to a beautiful garden and spend hours capturing the amazing blooms from almost every angle and perspective. I always find amazement in exploring flowers photographically!
So it is no wonder that I love to visit the Elizabeth Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto. These beautiful gardens surround an extravagant mansion and thankfully they are open to the public. There are a mixture of garden types: formal, cutting, edible, even kids gardens – but they all have one thing in common – they are ALL beautiful! On my way to church on Sunday, I like to peek and see how the gardens are looking and if I see enough color beyond the tall green fences, I will often times find some excuse to escape there not long after with a camera in hand. It is so much fun!
Anyway, here are some photos from my latest visit. And if you have never had the opportunity to visit Gamble Gardens, I would strongly encourage you to go soon because I can always count on Gamble Gardens to amaze me and I hope it will amaze you too!
